We're Pregnant! - layers and lipstick

On August 10, 2022 my 30th birthday we found out we were pregnant.

After miscarrying in January 2021 I put it all in gods hands and now we are expecting our rainbow baby.

Finding out on my 30th birthday was the best gift I could have ever received. Andrew and I kept this little secret between us until I was able to go to the doctor to confirm how far along I was etc. I went to the doctor that day to check my HCG levels and went back for a week to make sure they were rising correctly. My doctor was confident I did not need to keep doing blood work but for my sanity and anxiety I wanted to keep going.

The weekend we found out also we were pregnant I was in a wedding and we wanted to be incognito about it so we hid it until we had our 8 week apt. It was so fun just Andrew and I knowing this little secret to ourselves.

Fast forward to the next weekend our immediate family was coming into town to celebrate my birthday so we told them all then!

Week 8

Our first appointment with the doctor and the amount of anxiety that hit me was unreal. It was such a relief to see our little nugget and it’s heartbeat. We got our photos and the low down on the next few months and what they would look like.
