Happy #NationalPizzaDay friends! If there is one Drew and I can agree on the most it is our LOVE for pizza.
I recently had a vision of wanting a session with a few of my favorite things, Andrew, pizza, wine and RANCH! So I reached out to Jill a local KC photographer who is such an amazing photographer- she trusted my vision along with her ideas and we made it happen!
FUN FACT: If you have followed me on my social media you will see that no matter the circumstances if Ranch is needed- I have it. Literally I carry it with me practically everywhere if I know there will be pizza.
There is just something about Hidden Valley ranch that is hard to beat!
When we were delivered these photos Jill titled it “Love is in the Ranch” I laughed out loud because it could not have been a better description!
Happy #NationalPizza day, go out and get your favorite and be sure to tag me today I love when people share their pizza love 🙂
I am such a foodie and I have been eyeing this restaurant for a while now! If you haven’t heard of Donkey Tanqueria well thats okay! Ill tell you all about it. It is located in Grand Rapids, MI off wealthy street. The restaurant has overall a very chill vibe with an indoor and outdoor seating. The inside had a very cool bar area with several spots to sit. We chose to sit out side because it was such beautiful night and we knew we would be there for a while so I wanted to absorb that awesome Michigan air.
We ordered a pitcher of their prickly pear margarita! Which was delicious, I highly recommend it! It was pretty sweet which I really enjoy so if you don’t like sweet you may want to try something else.
Of course we had to get the queso and guac, my two favorite things to try at mexican restaurants, I give them both a 10!! The queso had a little kick to it which I am a fan of. Emily and I ordered some tacos which were super yummy also! All in all I really enjoyed the over all atmosphere, food and service! It is a place that I would recommend to anyone of you in the Grand Rapids area!
On this night I was able to catch up with my friends from the Mitten and it was long overdue. We talked about middle school memories and now what was happening in our lives currently. I truly believe in surrounding yourself with positive people and creatives that inspire you. I hope you all are having a great week <3
I don’t know about you guys but grilling a fruit with your steak, chicken you name it is always a must! I have been trying to find a balance of every food group when we eat dinner and sometimes fruit to me does not sound appetizing during dinner. So… I found an alternative way to eat fruit. We grilled steaks and seasoned them with McCormick’s, Montreal Steak seasoning. It was the perfect combo the zest with the sweet pineapple flavor! I am such a foodie!
I am just now learning to use a charcoal grill, Andrew showed me how to start it up and get it going last night. I have to say it is a little intimidating. Up next we are going to grill peaches I think 🙂 so stay tuned!!
If you’re grilling out this weekend I recommend you try this! Sometimes I add brown sugar, last night I didn’t thats a good sweet treat!
