I am obsessed with our new master bathroom and I just had to share it with you all! When envisioning this I had a very clear picture in mind of what I wanted. And it was everything and more. Thankfully I had time to map it all out and find the perfect pieces to complete the overall look I was going for. I am so excited to finally share with you all the process!
Our house originally was 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and knowing that we were going to be here for the next 5 years or so we thought it would be best to add on, so now we have 3 bedroom 2 full baths.
We ended up adding 6 feet each way of our master bedroom and bath, which created more space on to our back master bedroom and a walk-in closet!
Our new walk in closet- I am loving it and still trying to figure out how to organize it all! Also can we talked about this runner– I love a good pattern and I knew it would be safe in my closet without Andrew throwing a fit 😉
We got our shower tile from Floor and Decor- similar tiles here- matte white tiles I know the store expressed that what we had picked up was limited and we took what they had. Luckily they had the exact amount we needed. I know they mentioned you could purchase it but it would take a while to get in stock.
GROUT- I loved the darker grout looks so we went with charcoal grey grout. After the shower was complete they put in the floor and I used a black grout for the floor tile and added the double sink vanity!
We have both never lived with a double sink vanity- and it is so nice for us both to have our own space!
When we added the shower door I really saw everything coming together! I love how bold it is.
The vanity came with an option of black matte handles or silver and we chose to go with black to match all the other hardware. ( the silver was still shipped so we have them if we ever want to change them out)
Our sink faucet is from our local Lowes but they do have them online here as well! I wanted to find a simple mirrors that also were reasonably priced! I found these heavy duty mirrors here.
I am obsessed with our light fixtures, I have always loved the look of the Goose Neck lights and when I found 2 for such a good price I could not pass it up! Linked here! We ended up changing the bulbs that came with it.
This vanity is a DREAM! Yes it was pricy but for being our master and all the products I get on top of Andrew’s I knew it was worth it and the storage is impeccable! I love something that has this much storage.
My favorite part of a renovation is adding decor! I got our little q-tip holder from HomeGoods and our toilet paper holder from Amazon.
I will say I now think I have a new love for buying rugs and hand towels… I love shopping for both items at IKEA, H&M Home, Urban Outfitters, Target and World Market has the best selection for hand towels. I think I switch our bath mats way too often but why not.
I am so pleased with how our master bath turned out, this has been such a large request to share the full before and after! To see more live stories of it all you can head to my Instagram @layersnlipstick under the “Reno” highlight
