Pie Date + Life Lately

How adorable and fun are these photos from our pie date. My good/talented friend Brooke from Nomadic Newlyweds. Just in time for Valentines Day tomorrow. I have to admit I have been missing for quit some time lately. A little life update below these fun photos <3

How adorable is this little pie shop?! Hands down best pie I have ever ate, and they come in different sizes and flavors. It was a blast working with Brooke, she made us so comfortable.

We just got back from Michigan yesterday afternoon, and I am still exhausted. We went back home to have Andrew’s family Christmas party. I have yet to unpack and have no desire to… is that bad?! LOL It is always nice to go back home, but to be back in your own bed and get back in a routine. That will never get old. Our house is a mess, everything is everywhere and needs to be picked up. My to-do list is so long right now I have a headache, literally from even thinking about it.

Life Update:

I got a new job, yes a new job. I believe that I am to young to just settle. Don’t get me wrong my last job was a great job to have and I loved everyone there! It personally was not for me and I am glad I realized it early on rather then trying to force myself to doing something I did not feel was my calling. I am now working for an Advertising Agency and love it! Not only is it a fun learning curve, but the overall the people and atmosphere is a breathe of fresh air.

With having a new job, I have became very busy and haven’t had time to update my blog as often as I want. Adjusting to this lifestyle is something I am still trying to figure out. Adulting is a continuous thing as I am sure we are learning.

Our Home:
Our house is coming together slowly but surely. On our trip to Michigan I stopped at my new favorite store The Found Cottage and snagged some fun items.

Luther:
Luther just got his actual first big boy hair cut, like I do not recognize him. I cannot believe he turns one the twenty first of this month. Where has time gone?!
